Table Tennis Tips

A real low and short no-spin serve can give you some easy points in matches, as they are difficult to flip hard, and they require good timing to push hard. Mix it up with a heavy backspin in the same spot. Remember to get it short, the ball should bounce short on your side close to the net...

Comments:

"Great attacking power with a fast traditionally ULTRA sticky top sheet. This rubber is one of the best aggressive push to attack on the planet. Combined with Transcend sponge this product is lively away from the table as well as close. Transcend is lighter and faster than traditional Chinese sponges. Sponge stores energy to release into the ball, while most sponges allow energy to dissipate. By many regarded as similar but superior to the DHS HURRICANE 3 rubber."

User Reviews (from internet/newsgroups):

Cream is a little tackier than higher, SP is tackier than cream.

The recent mrs under cream is softer...about the same as the green transcend (40deg?).  The yellow transcend under cream is harder and heavier (42?).  The transcend under SP is very hard (like 46?), although I guess tom has some very good players who love it.

I've always thought SP was 729's answer to hurricane 3.

Started using my 729 SP, formerly Wang Nan, rubbers this week.  So far they are faster, less spinny and a softer click than the 999T.  My blocks we easier to control even off the table and counterlooping also more control and speed but less spin.  My flips were not as consistent as with the 999T but seemed to win more points outright.  So far I like them but I miss the click of the 999T.
