User Reviews (from internet/newsgroups): By Silvalis: This blade is a 5 ply all wood blade rated OFF+1. It has a darkish coloured surface ply that slightly splinters the first time you peel your rubbers off. It has a thickness of 6.1mm and is made of something that looks like Hinoki wood. I could be wrong though. Top ply is 0.2mm, 2nd is 0.9mm and the centre is 3.2mm giving it a total weight of 86g. Its speed is something similar to a primorac or offensive classic and the wood choice gives it a medium feel. The handle is comfortable too. I’d call this a great beginner blade. I'm using it for coaching purposes. |
