This is a great all-round blade with outstanding feel, suitable for defense, but with a reasonable fast rubber, it has plenty of power to put the ball away. The good flex in the blade provides good dwell time for control and very high spin.

The whirlwind has been revamped as of about 6mo ago. It's at the upper range of all+ now. Plenty of power for attacking. Simply a better blade than the red one.

I recommend the 729 9030 SST or 729 Blackwhirlwind.  Good quality and light blades for very good price.
